Description
The Compact 18″ Soil Tube Kit is a simple soil sampling kit with our largest soil tube included, allowing for a large core removal. This 19″ probe comes with an 8″ handle, 18″ soil tube and replaceable, screw-on Regular Soil Tip. Parts are easily taken apart for convenient, compact storage and carrying in durable 19″ fiberboard case.
The probe will take a core sample approximately 15″ long by 3/4″ in width. The outer diameter of the tube is 15/16″. The tube is designed to eliminate friction in the tube after cutting the sample. The tube has a non-clogging design with a cut-out in the front to allow for easy soil removal, visual inspection, and cleaning. The sample is unloaded from the tube without binding or compacting. It is marked at 6″ intervals to indicate sampling depth.
